Afterschool club

A welcoming space where children can relax, play, and feel at home.

Our Afterschool Club is designed to give children a safe, familiar and enjoyable place to unwind at the end of the school day. Older children use the spacious ground-floor rooms and the nursery garden, both of which provide plenty of room to relax, move, explore and play.

We offer a range of areas and activities to suit different personalities and interests — whether your child prefers a lively activity or a calm, cosy spot to recharge. Children can enjoy:

Art and craft sessions

Games and group play

Sports and outdoor activities

Chats with friends

Reading or quiet time

Homework, with staff on hand to support

Our aim is to create an environment where children feel comfortable, welcomed and free to choose activities that suit how they’re feeling that day.

A varied weekly programme

We plan a rotating programme of activities across our breakfast, afterschool, and holiday clubs, offering a balance of fun, creativity, learning and rest.

Children help us shape some of the activities too — their ideas and interests are often at the heart of our plans, especially during the holiday play-schemes.

School collections and flexible options

During term time, we will collect your child from school and walk them safely back to the nursery. Once here, they can enjoy:

Tea together in a relaxed environment

Adult-led activities

Independent play

Outdoor time (weather permitting)

A calm end to their day before heading home

We also offer Breakfast Club, where children arriving from 8am can enjoy cereals, toast and other breakfast choices before being walked to school.

Holiday Playscheme

During school holidays, we run a full Holiday Playscheme packed with engaging activities and themed days. Children often help us come up with ideas, giving them ownership and excitement about what’s coming next.

Full-day or half-day bookings are available depending on your childcare needs.

Our holiday play-scheme prices include:

Breakfast (8am arrivals)

Lunch

Tea

Snacks and drinks throughout the day

This creates a convenient all-inclusive childcare option for families.
