Children having a snack together

At Butterfly Nursery, we adhere to a food and nutrition policy aligned with government guidelines. To manage allergies and intolerances, we do not permit outside food.

We begin each day with a healthy breakfast of cereal or toast, followed by a morning snack prepared with the children, where we discuss food origins and the advantages of fresh fruits and vegetables.

We also promote good oral health by emphasizing teeth cleaning practices. Each room features a water station accessible throughout the day.

Lunches are provided by Little Tums, an external catering company that accommodates all dietary needs, with care plans for severe allergens clearly displayed for staff.

Our in-house tea menu offers healthy high tea choices accompanied by fresh fruit or vegetable platters.

Baby routines for milk are individually tailored, supported by a dedicated milk station for preparing feeds and bottles, and mothers can provide expressed breast milk. Staff regularly consult with families regarding routines.
