Our Cocoons room is designed to give our youngest children a calm, secure and nurturing start to nursery life.
We focus on building strong bonds with each child, ensuring they feel safe, comforted and loved throughout their day.
Familiar routines and gentle interactions help babies settle confidently at their own pace.
Thoughtfully designed for little ones
The room itself is cosy, restful and neutral, creating a peaceful environment for rest, play and exploration.
It sits next to our nappy-changing area and includes a dedicated milk kitchen for preparing feeds safely and hygienically.
We have carefully selected equipment and resources to support babies from their earliest months right through to their toddler stages.
Exploring safely, indoors and out
Although small, our babies are big explorers.
From our first-floor base, children enjoy time in their own secure garden area, as well as gentle outings in pushchairs to explore the local community.
These experiences support early physical development such as rolling, sitting, crawling and walking, while encouraging curiosity, recognition of familiar faces and the formation of strong emotional bonds with their carers.
